Today's final accounting paper finished in style. I mean as in I and my friends finished the paper off with a long deserved shopping trip to Mid Valley accompanied by a Japanese lunch, an Orli movie, and Dome semi-dinner. Yum. Buttery chicken and mushroom gourmet pie never tasted so good. And the huge glass of mango smoothie was really good too. And I'm craving for cawan mushi again.
Well, I'm glad the week's over. Even though I don't think it was as taxing as SAM last year. At all. I've got a few things to do for the coming week such as visiting the new Borders book store at Times Square, watching at least five DVDs and a bunch of anime movies, and just lazing around the house. Oh, wait, I think I've been doing that at least once a week now even without holidays.
I feel slightly satisfied after watching a movie after a long draught of non-movie-watching. Just that I never thought I would end up watching Kingdom of Heaven today. It was actually not bad regarding that it has Orlando Bloom in it, formerly and more famously known as Legolas, and that the movie has that whole LOTR feel to it. There were a few scenes that were literally taken straight out of LOTR. Sigh. Everyone's scalping off PJ's visionary of a movie now. So, it's a 6 out of 10 for being a LOTR copycat, fairly interesting storyline, and having a good supporting cast. Oh, and there's also Orli for the fangirls.
Not only am I worn out, I'm feeling slightly satiated now. It's a good two weeks before I have to go back to studying full time. For now, I've just got to think up ways to amuse myself. Oh and if anyone has noticed that I've created yet another new list in the sidebar, I just realized that I've got quite a long list of to-watch movies. Woot! Suggestions are welcomed of course with the exception of cutesy, overly-stupid, cliche, teen, and over-the-top action films. Yeps.
I wonder if anyone's interested in Sin City like me. I highly doubt that it'll be released in Malaysia considering it's got a rating of R, as in restricted, in the States. Sigh. It's back to scrounging in pasar malams for the DVD now. That whole grainy and film-noir look just attracted me to it instantly. Just hope it won't dissappoint me too much. I seem to be getting into comic book adaptation movies a little too much these days.
Going out tomorrow and on Sunday as well. The Times Bookstore sale is calling for me and I'm eyeing a white linen pants from TopShop and another black jeans from Miss Selfridge so I've got to get it this Sunday. I'm such a pants whore, when I'm supposed to be getting more skirts and tops. Ah, well. Indulgence is alright once in a while.
